Nightmare

I've, unfortunately, started having nightmares again. Last year I had one almost every single night for months, but then I had a break where I thought they were gone for good. The nightmare I had last night was seriously creepy and probably one of the worst ones I've ever had.

So a couple of days ago I posted about our new special "friends" we've found in our house, and today I found something interesting.

Strange Dream

Lately I've been having a lot of strange dreams. A couple of nights ago I had one where I ran into Roger Ebert at a Costco, and apparently we were friends. After chatting for a bit in their bakery section, he was kind enough to invite me over for dinner with him and his wife. Then I had this other dream, in the same night, where I was in this thing watching creatures go by in water. Everything was fine until this crayfish floated on by holding a knife in each pincer.

Mices

Weeks ago, when we were starting to move in to the house, we noticed that there was a problem with the gas fireplace. When Chris lifted up the lower panel to check the pilot light, we saw that there was a rat trap with some bait on there. We got a little concerned, but since the trap hadn't been sprung we thought nothing of it..... until this morning.

Grammer err...Grammar

Yesterday was National Grammar Day. A day where people pay more attention to their punctuation, spelling, and overall use of the English language. While I was on Twitter it was a trending topic that lasted almost the entire day. I should probably add that even though we are limited to 140 characters on Twitter, it's not an excuse to butcher English day in and day out.

Frustrated

There's a situation going on in my life, in which I will go in to at a later date, that has brought about much stress and frustration.Unfortunately, because of the situation (and not the guy from Jersey Shore *shudder*), I can't cut off the person. I have to maintain contact with them, which adds to the frustration.

My Beef Stroganoff Recipe

From time to time I'm going to share recipes. Not because I don't think you guys and gals can't cook, but for the simple fact that I think they are tasty dishes you all can enjoy. This particular recipe is one of my husbands favorites. He even told me not to make it often so that it still maintains it's "yum" factor. I wonder how he will feel knowing that I am giving away one of my top secret recipes?

My Eyes!

Like almost everybody in the world, I have a Twitter account. I use it to find out what's going on in the city I live in, to keep up with friends, and there are a few celebs I follow. One of them is Dave Navarro. He is known for being a guitarist for Jane's Addiction, and was even with the Red Hot Chili Peppers for their "One Hot Minute" album. Most people will probably know him because he was married to Carmen Electra. I've been a fan of him ever since Jane's Addiction so it was an easy decision to follow him on Twitter.

Sleep? What's That?

Recently we moved into a house, but prior to that we were living in a 2 bed/1 bath apartment. We moved in to the apartment December of 2008 and around May of 2009 we acquired Moogle. She was just a baby, but since my husband and I love cats, we had no problem with that. During the time we had her at the apartment we had to keep our bedroom door closed because if she was in there while we were sleeping, she would constantly wake us up throughout the night.

Introduction

I suppose the proper thing to do is to start off my blog introducing myself to the potential readers of this blog. I honestly don't know what to say about myself that won't come out sooner or later in future posts, but I can only hope that I don't bore you all to death.
